Welcome to the Bedford Academy. We purchased this gracious mansion in 1996 from its former owners the Toronto Ladies' Club. Over the years we have restored and transformed this home into what has become a favourite destination in the Annex and Bloor and Bedford area . Our mandate has been to "resist the ordinary" and provide our customers with a casual, friendly and eclectic environment. The goal to deliver more than we promise and provide service and food with a twist as we strive to be a little different in what we offer in our gastropub fair. In over twenty years we have witnessed and have been a part of the incredible changes that the city of Toronto has experienced. Toronto has become known for its diverse culture and being one of the top five destinations to experience the craft beer movement. We have embraced that with an ever changing selection of local and Ontario craft beers. We also offer a selection of Ontario wines that our executive chef works with when creating enticing and fresh weekly features.
